At times, patient may experience pain in tooth which has already been root canal treated. Such teeth need repeat root canal treatment to eliminate the infection. In repeat root canal treatment, root canals are cleansed thoroughly using magnification and ultrasonic devices after removing previous canal filling post and core filling and crown. Once the tooth is asymptomatic, root canal filling, post and core filling and new crown is made on the tooth.
